Maddison Milla

Maddison Milla is a first-generation college student in her final semester at Chapman University. Born and raised in Southern California, she was very passionate about ocean conservation. This led her to pursue a degree in Environmental Science and Policy along with minors in Leadership Studies and Psychology. During her time at Chapman, she explored scientific research in lab settings, such as assisting the Comparative Biomaterials lab one summer, being an intern at sea the next summer with STEMSEAS, and having contributed to the

Environmental Geochemistry lab for a year. Her other involvements included being a Chapman Ambassador, Dialogue Ambassador, or a Peer Mentor to many. Combining her science-centered experiences with her service-oriented experiences Maddie has discovered that her true passion is helping others. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in environmental education as well as continuing to be an advocate and ally to underrepresented folx.
