Jo Ann Santana Lopez

Jo Ann N. Santana López was born and raised in the south-west coast of Puerto Rico, between the Guánica and Lajas municipalities. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus in 2011-2015; and her two master’s degrees in Translation in English and Spanish (2015-2019) and Information Science (2020-2022) at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. 

Jo Ann has worked as a bilingual tutor, customer representative, editor, translator, and as a quality assurance librarian for the past 10 years. She is interested in information technology, web design, literature, and photography. Jo Ann enjoys movies, food (especially dumplings), and spending time with family, friends, and her dog during her free time.
