Erik Garcia

Erik is a student at MSU Denver, acquiring a bachelor’s in environmental science. His passion for the outdoors was sparked by summer long visits to his grandmother’s home in the mountains of Durango, Mexico, where he learned young, the importance of living in harmony with the land. Through their studies, Erik has developed a strong interest in natural resource management and water conservation. Their goal is to help ensure a sustainable future for Colorado and is committed to using their education and experience to help secure water resources for generations to come. He plans to graduate in Fall 2023 and is excited to contribute to Hackmatack Wildlife Refuge for the summer.
