Asia Pfiefer

Asia Pfeifer has spent the past four seasons as the Wilderness Monitoring Lead and Coordinator for San Juan National Forest. Nothing brings her more joy than empowering and engaging youth to find meaning through wilderness exploration. Although she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Philosophy, she now uses her courageous, determined nature to steward wilderness areas. With a strong foundation in assessing wilderness recreation trends in use and impact, she hopes to pave a career path protecting our public lands which house cultural, recreational and various intangible resources. In her free time, she continues backpacking, playing with her pug, cooking, reading, and drawing.
